Here are a few ideas for Daily Devotions and Practices …
~ Offer candles and incense. Choose a prayer to recite after.
~ Meditate using a guided meditation. These types of meditations help you focus.
~ Read a chapter in a book and take notes. This is a Saraswati Wisdom practice!
~ Make a bowl of crystals that you love. Each day choose a crystal, look up its meaning, and set your daily intention to align with the crystal. Carry it all day.
~ Divine Daily – tarot cards, oracle cards can be a huge source of inspiration for journaling or reflection.
~ Pray while you are cooking or preparing your food. Offer thanks to the Earth Goddesses for supplying the food. Weave your prayers into what you eat and share with others.
~ Listen to Sanskrit mantras. Mantra Guru Thomas Ashley-Farrand says that just listening to a mantra confers the benefits of the mantra itself. (My mantra playlist on Spotify)
! Speak to your Ancestors as you are cleaning, preparing a meal, folding laundry. Tell them what is happening in your life and how you would like to receive their guidance.
~ Read your Self a poem out loud every single day.
~ Audible books have an amazing range of subjects and books. Choose a spiritual topic that you would like to know more about and listen while commuting, exercising, or resting.
~ Make meditation work for you. It is not always about sitting completely still and trying to empty your mind. It is about shifting your focus and energy just for a bit. It is about breathing. And active meditation works wonders for those with busy brains (like me!).
~ Art journaling, vision boarding (collages), painting, making ART however you define it, are all great daily practices!
Blessings on your days! Let me know your favorite daily practices in the comments!
